Michael and Noble GF put in a couple more strong performances in what has been a very successful season at Fourth Level. Noble placed 1st on Friday with a score of 67% and was 2nd on Saturday by .3 of a point with an averave score of 66%.
Debbie Swann's gelding Grayson, did equally well in his first full show season. He placed 1st on Friday with a 69.8% in his First Level test and 2nd on Saturday with a 64% as he made his Second Level debut.

Spring 2012 RECENT SHOW RESULTS
Starr Vaughn, May 2012
Had a nice short weekend at the Starr Vaughn show. Noble GF was super and placed first in both his 4th level classes with a 66% and 69%. Grayson keeps getting better and better placing second in his 1st level classes Friday with two scores of 68%, and first on Saturday with a 69%.

Golden State March Mania Show, March 2012
Noble who received a qualifying score his first time out at 4th level. We are also very proud of Kudu who received scores into the mid 60's with an AA rider and handled her first outing since being a momma. At this show, the pair won the United States PRE Association Amateur High Point Award at the Golden State March Mania Show.

Congratulations to Lauren Lee of Woodside, CA and trainers Katie Crowley and Val Owen on their recent acquisition of Osprey! Osprey and her former owner have long been part of the Michael Etherly Dressage family and having this special mare in full training--even for such a short time!--has been a pleasure. We know Lauren and her new mare have a promising future ahead of them, we wish them great success and hope we will continue to be a part of this new partnership.

August 2011 LATEST SHOW RESULTS
Golden State Dressage, Warm-Up/Cool-Down, Elk Grove, CA July 29-31
The stallions represented very well this past weekend, even with all of us pulling double duty moving barns and showing in the same weekend! Noble GF placed first in his qualifying Third Level test with a 65% and placed second on Sunday with a 64%, such a trooper!
Atlas continued his trend of scores in the high 60's and 70's at second level with a score of 67.6% and first place in his qualifying Second Level test on Saturday.

July 2011 LATEST SHOW RESULTS
Starr Vaughn Equestrian May 13-May 15
Warcloud received two qualifying scores at Third Level, placing first and second in his two classes with scores of 67.4% and 63.59%, respectively.
Noble put in another solid performance at Third Level, with his day one score of 63.68% earning him first place and the USPRE Open High Point award, and placing third with 62.895% on day two.
Paeloma completed her second show at Third level with a great deal of success. She received two scores in the 60's, winning her class on day two with a 65%, earning many 7's and 8's throughout the test and great praise from her judges.
Congratulations to our client Niles Kynett and his Fresian gelding, Teake G, who placed second in both of their First Level tests with scores in the 60's.

May 2011 LATEST SHOW RESULTS
Del Mar National: Apr 28-Mar 1
What a great show! Windfire got back in the game, showing for the first time since last year's Del Mar with a good start back at 3rd Level. Noble put in some more solid 3rd Level tests, getting better and stronger all the time and Atlas, Michael's young stallion, did great at 2nd Level with scores from 67.8-70.0%. Good job to all!
Golden State Dressage: Apr 7-10
We are very happy with our start to the 2011 show season. All of the horses were very good overall and gave us a bunches of brilliant moments. Michael was very pleased with his mare Day Dreams who gave one of her best, most relaxed tests at Prix St. George earning a qualifying score, Warcloud received a qualifying score at Third Level, Noble received scores in the mid to high 60's in all of his Third Level tests and really looks like he is just going to shine this year. Paeloma, our sales mare, was wonderful too, receiving glowing comments from all of her judges, getting the highest score of the day from a very tough judge and winning her class, as well as putting in a very solid first go at Third Level. Atlas was a little superstar, having only shown a few Training Level tests last year, he came out and got a 68% in his first First Level test, and then a 69% in his first Second Level test--he is wasting no time at all!! So, good job to all, we couldn't be happier, and are looking forward to building on all this in the season to come.

National Arabian & Half Arabian Championships
September 21- 25, 2010 Ellexus Knight, ridden by Carolynne Smith, won National Reserve Champion at Second Level. They missed being National Champion by less than half a point! The pair also won Region III Reserve Champion at Second Level at the Region III A & HA Championships. "Ellie" has consistently been scoring in the upper 60s and low 70s at Second Level.
Danielle Casalett Gets Gold Danielle aboard Knock on Wood earned their USDF Gold Medal this summer. Daneille just moved up to Grand Prix this summer and received this distinction their first time out! Congratulations Dani!

Danielle and Connemara Pony, Wildwych Eclipse, have been selected as WEG pony ambassadors for the American Connemara Pony Society.
Danielle is a successful 24 year old Trainer from Granite Bay California specializing in Dressage and Combined Training. Danielle is both a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist as well as active Pony Club member. Danielle with the help of her trainer Micheal Etherly are currently working towards achieving her USDF Gold Medal aboard her 15 year old Swedish Warmblood Knock On Wood. Danielle and "Bud" as he is known recently competed at the Del Mar International CDI winning both the Intermediare Open and Prix St. George Open Sweepstakes.

Great show this weekend for the boys. The stallions were so well behaved and it showed in their test scores. Noble GF won both his Second Level Test 4 classes with scores in the mid to high sixties, as did Atlas in both his Training Level classes. Noble missed being high point PRE by a mere 0.3%.

February 2010 Rancho Muirieta Show Results
We are proud to report that Dejima was very successful in his first Grand Prix tests, scoring 64.255% and 62.340% and placing 2nd and 1st respectively. It was also Windfire's first time out at Third Level and he had a noteworthy show as well, placing 4th and 1st with scores of 63.590% and 64.103%.

War Cloud had a successful show outing at the SVE fall dressage show on Nov. 7-9, scoring 62.98% in Second Level Test 2 and 66.67% in Second Level Test 4.

Harry (Hirtenruf) did his first Prix St George and scored 60% and 63.421%. Draco did his first I-2 and scored 63.684%. And a big congratulations to Roberta Raymond who got her silver medal aboard Carrerra and Stacee Collier who got her Bronze on Rio Roxie and also won the Second Level High Point Championship.

Michael got his USDF gold medal aboard Supra, owned by Mia Lane, Windfire, at his first show, put in three excellent performances, Niles Kynett qualified for the CDS Championships and Kate Etherly won the award for "Best Braids".

September 2007 Dressage
in the Wine Country
Michael performed at the 25th Anniversary of Dressage in the Wine Country
with his mare Daydreams on September 15, 2007 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds
in Santa Rosa, CA. More to come on this experience.
One of the spectators had this to say about Michael's ride:
