Harris Farms is located in beautiful and temperate Northern California, a mere 20 minutes from Sacramento and conveniently proximate to premier show facilities such as Murieta Equestrian Complex and Starr Vaughn Equestrian Center. The farm is 300 acres and hosts a state-of-the-art equestrian facility and numerous trails.

AMENITIES

The facility has a 40 stall barn with 16 12' x 12' stalls, 8 12' x 12' stalls with attached paddocks and 5 12' x 14' stalls also with attached paddocks. There are four irrigated grass pastures with shelters available in which the horses are rotated throughout the day. Michael Etherly Dressage is a firm believer in the physical well-being of the horse and feels that turn-out is a must, not just for the physical health of the horse, but for their mental soundess as well.

There are two wash-racks with hot and cold water, and multiple grooming areas available, two of which are equipped with heat lamps.

The covered Equicizer ensures horsees get plenty of additional non-impact excersize.

ARENAS

Harris Farms has a total of four arenas, all with excellent footing and groomed daily. The Cover-All indoor arena is 120' x 220', has lights and sand and rubber footing. There are three outdoor arenas. The main arena is has enough room for two full-size dressage courts and a shaded viewing area. There is also a smaller sized warm-up/lunging arena and a large jumping arena. All arenas outside have all-weather sand footing excavated from right on the property. All arenas have automatic irrigation.

HORSE CARE

The horses at Michael Etherly Dressage all receive world-class care. Stalls are bedded with shavings, however, if your horse has special needs, we are happy to accomodate. Hay, concentrates and supplements are fed three times/day. The horses are groomed daily, clipped in the winter and blanketed appropriately, and attired in fly-masks, fly sheets (if supplied by the owner) and boots for their turn-out time.
